Hi, my name is Suzanne, I’m starting this Go fund me for a friend Trudy Pierog….Trudy was a healthy woman, a mother, a grandmother and the breadwinner of the home. During Covid she was one of the devoted essential workers who not only showed up to work everyday, but she travelled to different states to help out on the Covid floors of many different hospitals. She missed many month’s of only seeing her kids through FaceTime when she was able too. She worked 12+ hour shifts , so she wasn't able to call home for the kids for days which took a toll on her! Like many essential workers trudy was exhausted , worrying about her kids grandkid's and about her patient's that were sick and even dying! Her blood pressure was all over the place but being the caring person she is , would worry only about the people she had to help and herself later. Well later never came, in August 6th of 2023 she had a stroke while working. After recovering in the hospital , She was sent to rehab for weeks to get extensive therapy. Trudy needed to be well again to get back to work to take care of her kids and grandchildren …Trudy was finally released and sent home but 10 days later seizures started. She was rushed back to the hospital..sent to rehab again . The seizures continued to get worse causing Todd”s paralyses to Trudy , which has ended her up in a wheelchair…. Being the bread winner and not working has caused her to and her family to go into serious debt! Not only debt but she lives in a home with stair's stairs to go up to the rooms and stairs to get out of the house. It’s been impossible for her to go up to her room and she has no ramp to get out of the house for appointments.. it’s been horrible and embarrassing for someone who never needed to ask for help. ..she needs to be carried out or in and her chair that she gets around in , has to be taken apart every time .. Trudy doesn’t go anywhere other then drs appointments or possibly a family function if she can get help. Please let’s help Trudy and her family get a ramp so she could be a more independent , let’s help Trudy pay some of this mounting debt..
