Life Changing Car Accident - Please Help Shona Ivany

My name is Denise Lalonde. I’m asking you to consider helping my beautiful friend, Shona Ivany.

On March 24th Shona was in a horrific auto collision in London, Ontario. As a result, she sustained multiple significant injuries.

Shona was heading eastbound on Oxford St at McNay St on a regular Monday morning, going about her life as usual. Her vehicle was broadsided/T-boned (on her driver's side) by a southbound vehicle travelling at a very high rate of speed by an impaired driver. Her car flipped on its side and was slammed into a fence, which resulted in emergency crews having to extricate her from her vehicle. It’s truly a miracle that she survived this collision. Within 24 hours of this accident, Shona has already undergone two surgeries. Her injuries are serious, but not life threatening, however they are life changing. She has a very very long road of recovery and rehabilitation ahead of her.

Shona is a self employed, hard working woman, with no source of income other than what she generates. This accident and her injuries will mean that she won’t be able to work for an unknown period of time. If you could find it in your heart and within your means to contribute any amount to help Shona while she fights to recover and rebuild her life, it would mean the world to her family and friends. Shona's bills will be piling up quickly. We are all doing everything we can, but we will need help from the community too.
