Life changing insulin pump & supplies for Melanie

Hi! I’m a type I diabetic and have been so for 35 years. I have tried to keep my blood sugar level in good control all of my diabetic life. This pump will help me immensely! I would love to be able to get the new insulin pump, Tandem Control IQ. It uses 
a hybrid closed loop technology designed to help increase time in range for blood sugars. It predicts and helps prevent both high and low blood sugars. 

My issue is, my insurance doesn’t cover it. It won’t pay anything on it. 

I’m a Certified Surgical First Assistant and I’m scrubbed in surgery for the most part of my 12 hour shift. It’s impossible for me to give myself insulin or to eat during surgery. This pump would change my life!
