Heart Condition Treatments For Katrina Williams

Hi all, this is Diane Gordon and along with my family, close friends and team of doctors at the Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA would like to share plea with you my beloved 28 year old niece, Katrina Williams heart condition.    
While 6 months pregnant, Katrina was
diagnosed three weeks ago that she has a Cardiomyopathy heart condition. Katrina’s   heart was only beating at 15% which wasn’t sufficient enough to provide blood flow to her unborn baby.  

She was at 26 weeks which was critical that she could possibly deliver her baby still born.
Katrina‘s team of doctors kept her heart stabled to give her unborn baby time to develop close to 30 weeks so that her  heart would be strong enough to deliver the baby by C-section. Katrina‘s heartbeat improved a little at 20% enough for her doctors to proceed and perform a C-section delivering baby Kadence at 29 weeks. 

Baby Kadence is holding strong but will remain in the hospital for 2 to 3 months. Katrina & baby Kadence has a long  journey ahead fighting for their lives!

Katrina is a diabetic and has hypertension blood pressure right now, she’s not eligible for a heart transplant. Katrina‘s heart is still very weak only beating at 20%. If Katrina’s heart continues to weaken It could result to surgery to place a pacemaker or insert stents. 

This has been devastating very emotional and overwhelming for Katrina, her mother,
her 5 year-old son, Kameron and for us, her  family. Katrina is very scared she wants to be around to raise her two sons and for that, she is fighting for her life!
After Katrina undergo heart surgery, she will need around the clock nurse care at home, transportation provided for every day doctors appointment treatments and very expensive medication that she will have to take for the rest of her life.
This is where we need your help. First in for most. Katrina and baby Kadence needs prayers.
Secondly Katrina and baby Kadence are in dire need of financial support to get through medical costs and ongoing treatment for her heart condition.
Katrina has a long healing journey she’s a    young vibrant beautiful spirit with a big beautiful heart. A young full life ahead of her. We love her we need her and she needs to be here to watch her two baby boys grow   up.
