Hello,
My 49 year old husband Jason Mcgee is the most caring and loving person I know. He has a huge heart and is willing to help whoever, whenever. We have 7 grandchildren and one more on the way that we love all very much . Since 2009 Jasón has been battling several different diseases that have left him with many life threatening complications. I have seen him live a miserable, painful and agonizing life that has left several of us in tears through many, many years. In 2010 he was diagnosed with severe diverticulitis that resulted in a surgery in which they removed an alarming amount of his colon . Despite facing life threatening critical conditions Jason is a fighter and pulled through. 2011 he was diagnosed with one of the most severe case of Celiac disease it change his life tremendously especially in terms of diet and bathroom habits. 2015 Jason received the most critical diagnosis anyone can imaginge, he was diagnosed with Final-stage Cirrhosis of the liver however we remained very optimistic and we never lost faith or hope . From this point on most of our days were spent in and out of hospital. Every day that passed left Jasón with more pain and worse quality of life.
In 2006 he went into emergency surgery after his gallbladder ruptured but due to the severity of the liver, the surgery could not be laparoscopic. It was however done by a large incision. Along the way he got type two diabetes, and a feeding tube due to final stage liver disease. Through all these years of pain and suffering and spending my life juggling work and the hospital , half of his day in the hospital Jason never give up. As the time went by the visits to the hospital become more challenging and overwhelming . After waiting 4 Years Jason was approaching the doorstep of death we got the call that his saving angel has a ready pass through the door And the liver was here. The feeling of joy have overwhelming all of us unfortunately after extensive preparation For the surgery we got the sour taes of the defeat as the doctor come in and told us the donor liver was no good and the surgery will be cancel. It felt as though our life was collapsing all over again but we pray and ask god to give us strength and to send us another angel . On 05/04/2019 we got another call that felt so similar to the last one but we pray and ask God to be the one Jasón need. All the prayers work . after all preparations again doctor told us the good news donor liver was good and Jason need to be ready On 05/05/2019 surgery began at 1:05pm it was a nervous wracking 9 hours of agony and desperation finally doctors said surgery was Success Jason have New liver little did we know Jason was entering a brand new world of problems that will bring its own challenges just a days ahead . Jason always work hard but due to his surgery and sickness he is no able to work for a long time. Trying paying for all the expend has became painstaking and overwhelming been his full-time caregiver I will be out of work for quite some time . That is the reason I decided to ask for help . Along with the basic household expenses and the cost of a liver transplant is overbearing alone , because even with good insurance they are many expenses that Must be cover some are health Insurance, coo -pays for the actual hospital stay , deductible for the surgery of the new liver , expensive medication that Jason have to take for the rest of his life to prevent the rejection of the new liver . Jason is no allowed to be left along for 3 months after transplant and with me no working the expenses are to much for us to handle alone . any small donations will make this liver a longer life for my husban. And I able to care for him better Please I ask to touch you heart and help us raise the money that we desperately need it we are forever grateful for the help and support God bless everyone and thank you so much
