Surgery for Percy
Donation protected
My cat, Percy, had a medical emergency in the beginning of February. He was rushed to an emergency vet and it was days of worry, wondering if he would make it through. He had an initial surgery that redirected the path of his urine to exit through a hole in his stomach instead of where it would usually exit, because of a large blockage he had. He has lived happily with that surgery for over a month, but recently he has gotten a bad infection at the site. The emergency vets and surgeons we talk to highly suggest we go through with the most humane option. He should get surgery that would redirect his urinary tract to the normal passageway, making him much more comfortable and increasing his life span. However, this surgery is very expensive and help is needed. Any money you can give to try and help would be greatly appreciated.
