Life saving treatment for bulldog Daphne.

Daphne is a 4 year old English bulldog who has suddenly fallen poorly with a tail pocket infection that has developed into a superbug infection. A superbug infection in dogs is a bacterial or fungal infection that is difficult to treat and can be life-threatening. Having tried extensive alternative treatments such as antibiotics, steroids, topical creams, medicated wipes and intensive cleaning regimes, the infection has unfortunately become immune to standard treatment options. Having spoken with multiple vets & specialists their advice and future options for Daphne are to either have soft tissue surgery to remove the full tail pocket or euthanasia. I can assure you I have exhausted every avenue to help me pay upfront for her life saving emergency surgery but unfortunately a quote of £2000 at a rough estimate and that is without aftercare and testing….. it’s not easy to immediately gather at short notice and the longer I try to save up the worse her condition gets. I am not prepared to give up or even consider euthanasia when she could potentially have a chance to be saved and continue life with her being so young. Nobody including the vet could have foreseen the rapid decline of Daphnes health as tail pocket infections are common for the breed, unfortunately she is within a rare percentage that hasn’t responded to treatment & requires the surgery option. It has taken a lot for me to ask for help and believe me when I say that I have exhausted every other single avenue before having to reach out and do this. I have to put my pride aside and put my dogs’ life first, so I do appreciate any donation at all that can please help me contribute to saving my babies life. I could never forgive myself if I didn’t try every route to try and save her. Thank you
