Life transforming skin removal surgery

Oh wow, I can't believe I hit the $1000 target for my deposit. Words can not describe how thankful and overwhelmed I am feeling at this moment in time.

I will be accessing my Super to cover the bulk of the cost (20k). I cannot access my super to cover the cost of the anaesthesiologist, for which the estimate for this is $5280. It's a 6-hour surgery, so the price is high. I am hoping to push my luck and continue my gofundme to help cover this cost. In October of 2020 I underwent weight loss surgery. After hitting 190kg I was at breaking point and knew something needed to be done. Over the past two years I have worked hard to achieve a 95kg weight loss and am now left with an insane amount of excess skin and sagging boobs. This often prevents me from seeing my transformation and makes my movements uncomfortable. I find it hard to find clothes that cover my skin and constantly live my life in garments that hold my skin in place.

I’ve just been quoted a whopping 20k out of pocket cost for surgery 1 of 3 which will change my life completely!

I’m starting this go fund me in hope that the generosity of friends and strangers will help cover some of this cost as I am not in the financial situation to have this surgery. My biggest fear is that without this surgery I will regain the weight I’ve lost due to the psychological effects the excess skin has on me, such as constantly feeling like I need to lose more weight even though I have a healthy body fat percentage.

The first $1000 will go towards securing my first surgery date. This surgery will be an upper and lower belt lipectomy flyer de lys.
