In the face of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza Strip, we are reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to provide immediate financial aid to Palestinian students who are studying in the United States and have been stranded without resources to remain enrolled in school. We have provided financial support to three Palestinian students so far and have many more who need your support. For updates on the students we have supported, including their stories and financial needs, please check out the "Updates" section of this GoFundMe below.

Urgency

The ongoing siege and harsh realities of the war in Gaza have left Gaza’s population vulnerable, with homes destroyed, lives upended, and the constant threat of violence looming. Lasting for more than 100 days, the toll is staggering, with over 24,000 lives lost, including 10,400 children. Displaced families and struggling hospitals paint a picture of entire communities facing ethnic cleansing and genocide. This inevitably redirects family resources and focus towards mere survival. Consequently, ambitious Gazan students pursuing higher education in the US, find themselves without the financial means to stay enrolled and meet basic needs. Often advised to return home, they risk exposure to violence and the recurrence of dire circumstances. Many of these students are stranded, and deeply concerned for their families’ safety. If students pause their academic pursuits to support their families, grieve, and deal with this ongoing crisis, their educational visas will be challenged. With aid blocked from reaching Gaza, immediate support is crucial for Gazan students studying in the United States.
