LIFESAVING BRAIN TUMOUR TREATMENT- 9yr old Harper

We are raising funds to give our beautiful 9 year old Harper alternative treatment for her Childhood Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) diagnosis she received this week.

"Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) is a brain tumor that is highly aggressive and difficult to treat. It occurs in an area of the brainstem (the lowest, stem-like part of the brain) called the pons, which controls many of the body’s most vital functions such as breathing, blood pressure, and heart rate. Because of its location in the brain and how rapidly it progresses, DIPG is a “high grade” malignant brain tumour"

This time last week they were just a typical family, swinging their children on the swings in the park to family nights in watching movies, to then being told the most horrendous news that their youngest girl Harper has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

Harper is a real country girl who loves horseriding and anything that involves being outdoors. She has such a thirst for life and an abundance of friends and family who love her so much.

This week all of our lives and hearts have been shattered to learn she has a tumour- on the stem of her brain.

The pain we all feel is indescribable, the doctors have given Harper just months to live- it doesn't seem real, even as I write this.

Our only hope is to raise enough money to get her to a treatment centre in Spain as this treatment is not available here in the UK,

With the medical support costing £5,000 a week- you can only imagine, trying to raise these funds in such a short space of time is proving difficult- but we will not stop fighting for you Harper, we will not give up hope, we love you with everything we have.
