Life-Saving Cancer Treatment for Helen

Donation protected
Friends, family, and beyond. I am setting up this page for financial help for promising last-hope treatment for my sisters cancer. Time is running out, and we are praying we can come together to take urgent action to save a very precious life.

Helen does not know about this fundraiser.

She has always made clear that she doesn’t want to ask for help or money. If you know her, you’ll know she is shy, humble, and completely unpretentious. Things we all love her for. But this time, I don’t believe in staying quiet. I really believe that reaching out for help, just might make the difference between life and death.

Helen was diagnosed with eye cancer 6 years ago, age 35. Her boys were and 1, and 3. Her focus was, and always has been, on giving them a happy fulfilled life, unexposed to the profound heartbreak of living with cancer. Since the cancer spread, she has had surgeries to remove tumours from both breasts, and liver. The cancer has returned in her breast and liver, and is no longer operable.

Friends, you will know that she is receiving Immunotherapy currently. This was her only option provided by the NHS, and recommended by her doctor, as it can be very successful in tackling tumours outside of the liver. However, it has a very limited success of actually dealing with liver tumours.

This is where Chemosaturation comes in.

Chemosaturation is a revolutionary treatment where a high dose of an anti-cancer drug can be given directly to the liver, which can help destroy the cancer. It has shown huge success in fighting cancer in the liver.

Each Chemosaturation treatment costs £40,000, and at least 2 rounds are needed. Helen’s family have been able to raise funds through loans to secure a first treatment, but we cannot achieve what we so desperately need without leaning on a wider community for help and support.

Please pitch-in whatever you can, to help us to raise the funds for a second round of chemosaturation. While luck is running out, maybe we can transfer some hope to old friends and new, in Helens time of need.

Your donations really count: Give a little, or a lot, a little bit now, a bit later, tell your friends, spread the word, spread the love…

With our deepest gratitude, Helen’s family.
