Lifesaving Defibrillator Jacket

Hi, my name is Angela (aka Angie) and my son Christopher (aka Chris) recently experienced a life altering medical emergency. He had a massive heart attack with 85% of his heart affected. He has been working since the age of 15 and he will turn 50 this November. He always prided himself on being independent. Recently due to the high cost of everything (in Louisiana we have some of the highest insurances from health to auto, etc) he and his spouse could no longer pay for health insurance so 2 months ago dropped it. God knows how much the hospital stay will be not to mention follow up visits, medicines, etc. The main issue at the moment is they need to discharge him with a defibrillator jacket. The down payment alone is $1,500. He has to wear the jacket for 3 months. After the initial down payment it will cost $3,000 a month for 3 months. They do not have it and pride aside I told them I was going to ask for help. I know we're all strapped but I also know he can't do without the jacket. I ask please that you give a prayerful thought and help them if you can.
