Life-Saving Emergency Surgery for Thelonious

On February 1st, Stephanie's beloved Thelonious was admitted to the animal emergency clinic with life-threatening injuries. He has been in emergency care for the past 24 hrs. So far, the emergency vet bill has exceeded $7,000. We are raising funds to help Stephanie cover these steep and unexpected costs so that her cherished family member Thelonious can receive the care he needs, and so that he can return home.

Stephanie is an incredibly kind, thoughtful and generous person who cares deeply for her family and community. She shows up hard for everyone in her life and now it’s our opportunity to show up for her. She is fiercely dedicated to Books to Prisoners, a grassroots collective that ensures that incarcerated folks have access to books and a sense of connection. As a BIPOC person, she actively creates spaces for connection and healing with and for other BIPOC folks. If you have met Stephanie, you know that she is deeply committed to her values and to liberation.
