Life-Saving liver transplant for Mohamud A Hassan
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. (May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be with you).
Dear brothers and sisters first and foremost Ramadan Mubarak! May Allah (swt) accept all our fasts, prayers and duas during this blessed month. May Allah forgive our sins, grant us good health and a happy life. Ameen ya rab!
I humbly ask you to consider donating and sharing this campaign wherever you can. Your donation of any amount is highly appreciated and means a lot to us.
I have made this account with the intention to raise some funds for my cousin Mohamud Abdisalaam Hassan. Mohamud is a 35 year old father of six who lives in Somalia. He was perfect healthy but suddenly, his stomach started swelling up which caused distress and pain therefore he went to 2 hospitals in Somalia which is when they told him he has water retention in his stomach and his liver is failing. He was told he needs a transplant and was taken to Turkey. His younger brother was meant to donate part of his liver to Mohamud but he has Jaundice therefore he is unable to do so. This meant Mohamud had to go back to Somalia and now needs to go to India to get the transplant from his other younger brother. Mohamud and his family were told it would be around $40,000 for the transplant which his family can’t afford. He’s the breadwinner of the family with 6 beautiful children 4 boys and 2 girls with the youngest at 3 and the oldest at just 12 years old. He’s unable to support his family as he cannot work due to the situation. This situation is too big for us to handle alone which is why we as a family ask for your help as it is getting a person back to his kids, wife and family. He will be able to focus on his treatment with an easier mind knowing that some of his expenses are covered.
‘Uqbah ibn ‘Amir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, charity will protect people from the heat in their graves. Verily, only the believer can seek shade on the Day of Resurrection in the shade of his charity.”
If you could please donate whatever you can it would be gratefully appreciated. May Allah swt bless and protect you all. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said that "Charity does not decrease wealth", and what better time to donate to the less fortunate, than during this blessed month of Ramadan.
