Lifesaving miscarriage surgery bill

Hello, if you’ve been in my life at all in the last few months you know how much I’ve been struggling. After four months of pregnancy I had what is called a missed miscarriage. I found out during an ultrasound that my baby was no longer alive. It was then explained to me that if I didn’t have the pregnancy surgically removed I would likely go septic, hemorrhage, and die. After missing many days of work to both physically and mentally recover I then received another diagnosis. A blood clot in the site of my iv. A painful reminder every day of what had happened. Eventually, I was hit with the medical bill which is just about five grand.
