Lifesaving Surgery for Dachshund !

Dear Fellow Dog Lovers, friends, clients, and family!

I am raising much needed emergency funds to help save a very sweet and loving 4 year old Dachshund "Henry"!  

"Henry" has been in the hospital in San Francisco due to sudden paralysis of his rear legs!  He has a ruptured intervertebral disc that is very painful and damaging to his spinal cord.  However he WILL RECOVER full use of his hind legs with emergency neuro-surgery to decompress his spinal cord and remove that ruptured disc!  

Unfortunately his mom (a young woman)- does not have the financial means to help him- and is facing euthanasia as her only option-if we cannot raise funds to help pay for his surgery-!!!!  We can't let this happen to sweet "Henry"!  

His amazing neuro-surgeon contacted me for help and is standing by- ready to take him in for his MRI and Hemilaminectomy-  but we need to cover his deposit in order for her to have permission to proceed-  

Currently we already have raised about $2500 in funds via the amazing help of San Francisco Aid For Animals Grants-in-Need program  (www.sfafa.org) and from the amazing vet hospital where he will have surgery who is matching these grants!  

But we will need more funds to help him get all the way through surgery and recovery!  

Please help us provide "Henry" with this critically needed surgery so he will no longer be in pain- and also to keep him with his mom- rather than rehoming him via a rescue group!  

I am planning to donate my rehab services to him post-operatively and to foster him as needed as he recovers.  
And Michelle and I will cover his unpaid vet bills as needed-  Let's see if we can raise some funds to help him ASAP!
