Life-saving surgery for our papa.

Two days ago, we received the call that no one ever wants to hear. In the middle of the night, our strong and sweet Papa suddenly became ill and was rushed to hospital.Just like that our peaceful existence was shattered and nothing made much sense anymore.
After several calls and texts, we were finally able to reach mum and she explained that papa was bleeding internally and the cause was unknown. Thankfully, the doctors were able to briefly stabilize him but it quickly became apparent he had to be admitted into the ICU.
The next day, a CT scan and an endoscopy showed an ulcer the size of a golf ball in his stomach which had raptured. By this time he had lost over 6 pints of blood and emergency surgery was the only life-saving solution. Thanks to the immeasurable kindness of family and friends, our dad was able to receive immediate blood transfusions.
Today, we are so relieved and grateful to tell you that the surgery went well and our dad is slowly, but steadily regaining his strength. His life is priceless and he means EVERYTHING to us. He is still in hospital and the next few days are vital in determining how soon he can come back home. Without the hard work of the nurses and doctors, we don’t know where we would be.
We have started this Go Fund Me campaign to support our mum and ease the burden of medical expenses and the recovery process in the coming weeks.
