Lifesaving Surgery for our Rescue pup Rosie (“Lulu”)

Update: Thank you all so much, we are overwhelmed with the generosity and well wishes for our little Rosie. Rosie is going into surgery tomorrow morning and we will update the second she gets out. We have closed the gofundme as we have received a very kind donation for the rest of the surgery.

We rescued our beautiful pup “Rosie” (formerly “Lulu”) from Pauline’s Rescue this week and completely fell in love. They had told us she had a heart murmur but that their vet said it wasn’t bad . But when our vet saw her yesterday it had got worse and after a €670 echocardiogram today we got the devastating news that she had not 1 but 2 murmurs and without surgery she won’t make it till Easter.

The good news; this operation can fix her completely with no need for medication afterwards, if she survives it which her surgeons say she will.

Through advice from Pauline’s Rescue we have set up this gofundme to help raise money for her surgery which comes out to €2,000.
