Potential LifeSaving Therapy for Martin Perantinos

If you are reading this you probably know Martin, Margey or the three of us kids in some way. You know the challenges our Dad has faced in the past with his health and we have never, ever reached out to ask for help in any way... BUT, in times like this I felt a campaign could really help relieve some of the tough financial burdons my parents have been facing, so my Dad and Mom could spend less time worrying financially, and more time on fighting this disease.

After fighting cancer twice, my Dad is fighting this shitty disease once again--but he is the ultimate fighter and WILL NOT GIVE UP! Back in October of 2018, Martin was diagnosed with Stage 4 Stomach Cancer. Doctors told him this is terminal cancer and gave him a year to live. After going through bi weekly chemotherapy and other alternative therapies his numbers were going down and he was showing signs of improvement. However, eventually with this type of cancer the chemo stops working and the cancer markers start to go up... this is the case with our Dad. He is not giving up. WE ARE NOT GIVING UP. There are alternative therapies available, however they come at a high cost. We have been actively making use of some of these alternative therapies, and are at the point where we need to become more aggressive and try some more treatments to help Dad, however the financial toll is really starting to add up. This is no longer public healthcare, and is now private so the onus is 100% on the patient to pay in full for this treatment. 100% of the funds raised through this campaign will go to my dad's treatments. 

Asides from his current treatments both in and out of hospital, the following are some treatments we are hoping to use these funds to pay for.

Ozone Therapy (O3)
$450-800 per treatment (depending how much ozone is used)/recommended twice weekly
-ozone is a more reactive form of oxygen than the oxygen we breathe (O2)
-ozone is created by UV light and by electrical arcs, but does not last long (breaks down into
O2 on its own in minutes –> hours)
-speed of ozone breakdown depends on temperature (slower breakdown with colder temp)
-ozone has many effects in the body: increases oxygenation in tumours, directly kills cancer
cells, kills bacteria/viruses/parasites, helps regulate the immune system, increases the
function of the anti-oxidant system in the body, improves healing and repair and reduces the
effects of aging
-ozone has been safely used in Europe and Russia for decades, and is approved by the
Ministry of Health in Russia (but is still not accepted by Health Canada or FDA)
-side effects are extremely low
-can be administered in a high dose by direct injection under pressure into blood removed
from the body, which is then re-transfused into the body (hyperbaric major autohemotherapy)
-blood treatment is a continuous circuit (blood is always flowing in or out of the body, so
remains “connected” to the body) which may be important for the Jehovah’s Witness faith
-can be administered in a medium dose by dissolving in saline which is then infused by i.v.
-can be administered into accessible tumours by direct injection
-can be inflated into the bladder for bladder cancer therapy
-can be inflated into the rectum, which then absorbs into the blood
-can be mixed with a small amount of blood and injected into a muscle to stimulate the
immune system (minor autohemotherapy)
-can be infused directly into the blood as ozone gas (Medicor does not use this technique)
-generally not a stand-alone cancer therapy, but combined with medications or natural
therapies
-excellent with chemo or radiation (improves cancer kill, reduces side effects, speeds
recovery)

IPT chemo
$1500-$1700 USD (12 sessions required)
-this therapy consists of low dose chemo given with insulin as a chemo booster
-low chemo dose helps to protect the immune system and prevent side effects, while the
insulin boost the chemo uptake unto cancer cells
-this is a “chemo-immunotherapy”, similar to SEF chemo

-from Martins doctors experience, the success rate of IPT at the Chicago clinic is over 90%, for stage 4
cancers of all types

RGCC Blood-based Chemosensitivity Testing
$2500-$3500 depending on how many drugs are not be tested (chemo only, natural only or both)
-this blood test helps to find chemos or other drugs that will work best on the cancer, and
identify drugs that will not work
-measures (indirectly) the ability of a drug to kill cancer cells
-does not measure ability of drugs to stop cancer cells from growing – DCA for example
-it requires a sample of blood to be sent by overnight courier to the lab in Greece
-cancer treatment drugs should be stopped 2 weeks prior to taking the blood sample
-the cost ranges from about $2500 to $3500 depending on how many drugs are to be tested
(natural only, chemo only, or both)

These options, as well as the current treatments (both private and non private) my Dad has been receiving for the past year have really helped my Dad and have given us all hope.  We will do anything to help him get there. Everyone always asks how they can help, and although raising money for treatments helps tremendously, the support you have all offered to our family, the time, knowledge, expertise and energy you have given us MEANS THE WORLD!!! I cannot even begin to thank all of the beautiful, incredible humans who have lent their medical expertise, naturopathic education, herbal medication, recipes, delivering bone broth and special formulas, the list is endless.
