Hospital bills payments for Tony

Tony Hazlewood was diagnosed with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) on Christmas Day 2019, while hospitalized at Providence Portland medical center for very low red blood cell count. His heart palpitations, racing pulse, and fear that there was something seriously wrong brought him to the ER there.
Since then he has had 12 blood transfusions, with another tomorrow (February 16, 2020). These infusions are necessary when his red blood cell count dips so low that he is at risk for numerous immediate health complications resulting from not having enough oxygen.
PNH is a rare, acquired condition where the person's bone marrow produces blood cells deficient in proteins that protect them (i.e. identify them as "self") from the individual's immune system. The person's red blood cells are destroyed by the immune system. Tony is treated for this with Ultomiris ( a monoclonal antibody, or inhibits aspects of the immune system) infusions every 8 weeks and regular blood infusions (which hopefully he will need less over time).
Although Tony has health insurance, the hospital bills remain outstanding and it is the hope that this platform will help him pay for these and the costs of continuing the treatment he will need his whole life. Continuous treatment involves paying those costs not covered by his insurance. Being that stress is a factor that exacerbates destruction of blood cells, it is a focus of this GoFundMe to decrease financial burden for Tony as he battles this rare disease every day.
Tony continues to work as a roofing estimator while he struggles with his symptoms. He has raised a family of three boys and continues being a great father everyday to his grown sons. He is also a creator and artist, using materials found in forests of the Pacific Northwest with other media to create inspiring works.
