This GFM is a very special “project” for me. My husband died 1/5/04. In his memory, each year, I wish to honor him by highlighting some one dear to me that needs a hand.

I wholeheartedly and humbly come before you to request help for my loveliest of friends, Mary Patricia Franklin (Trisha to most of you).❤️

Why Trisha you ask?

Trisha has been through a devastating rough patch and she needs our help to elevate her - all the way up and out of her current situation.

Dis you see the gorgeous smile in her pic? That is all of her pics. She wears the biggest, warm smile on her face, at all times. She oozes compassion and will help anyone she meets. Trisha is a constant light in many others lives.

Now what if I told you that her son died from an overdose? A parents worst fkn nightmare. And what if I told you that her other son is masking his pain in addiction - at this very moment.

And yet she still graces every one with that smile, open arms and compassion.

Trisha recently moved to Texas for a very deserved change of pace and in hopes of finding suitable, safe and an affordable life change. Due to no fault of her own - nothing planned or promised has panned out.

Her job fell thru.

She cannot afford her rent and will be evicted in days.

Her car is to be repossessed - any moment now.

She cannot afford her utilities, insurance, food, etc..

UPDATE: Trisha is now living in a motel. Still searching for employment. Also she is (3) payments behind on her car. They are threatening to repossess the car - then she will have nothing. 

I can’t bear the thought of this and my heart breaks for her. How much more grief, loss and devastation should we allow her to endure?

Enough is enough.

I have 303 FB friends alone. Everyone gave just $20 we can surprise her with enough to catch up on her monthly bills. Give $1.00, $5.00, $10.00 - it truly doesn’t matter as it will all add up!
