Please raise Dana up in prayer and love.

Hi, my name is Kristin and I’m fundraising for my very good friend Dana. For those of you who are lucky enough to have Dana in your life, you know that she is the most special of people.

Monday, January 15th, Dana was airlifted directly from her house to the St. Cloud hospital, where she was found to have suffered a massive stroke. This has affected the right side of her body, as well as her ability to speak. She is able to comprehend what you are saying, but has difficulty verbalizing. This is called expressive aphasia. Dana’s care team is pretty optimistic that she will may regain her strength as well as her ability to verbalize, though it may be a long process.

Dana is a GIVING, kind, loving, determined, and strong woman. She is the epitome of selflessness. But right now, Dana needs to focus completely on her recovery, surrounded by the people who mean everything to her- her two daughters Kenzi and Madi, and their kiddos. The current costs of traveling for her girls to be with her is expensive and they have barely left her side. The future financial needs are unknown, but they include not only the medical bills, adaptive equipment, etc, but potential home remodeling costs.
