Lift up Lindsey!

This fundraiser was created to help Lindsey with her living expenses as she battles debilitating complications from Multiple Sclerosis, a disease she has been gracefully fighting for the last 25 years.

In November 2023, routine bloodwork indicated signs of renal/kidney damage. By February, Lindsey was in end stage renal failure requiring several major surgeries. The first (of many) procedures will necessitate her being out of work for a minimum of 6-8 weeks and include bladder removal and Ileal conduit diversion procedures this Friday, April 19th. Once recovered comes dialysis until a match is found for a Kidney transplant. All of which create a significant financial hardship and ongoing medical expenses.

When the world throws such trials at a person, what they need more than anything is the love and support of their community. Family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, alumni= in a crisis such as this all hands on deck are needed and welcome! Naturally, most if not all of you will want to express "get well" wishes and thoughts of a smooth recovery and those will be sincerely felt. For some of you, with the world the way it is, a donation is not an option, and prayers will always be welcome. We can all imagine that if we were faced with such daunting news, having the normal financial burdens of life tended to while we focus on our health and recovery would be a major relief. This is what she needs now from us, that help and support so she can keep her mind and energy where they belong- recovery.
