Lifting with Love for Lindsay

Little Lindsay Mari was born with a condition called duodenal atresia. This can be repaired surgically but Lindsay's case was complicated by only having a single mesenteric artery (this supplies blood to the small intestine), malrotation of the intestine and an annular shaped pancreas. Lindsay was operated on shortly after birth but her complicated medical diagnosis left her with a condition called short gut syndrome. It was later discovered that she also suffers from biliary atresia, a life threatening condition that destroys the liver.

 Lindsay is a little angel. Never, have I seen a child with such a sweet disposition who's been through so much pain and surgery from the beginning of her life. 


Lindsay and her parents, a local Long Island family, need a "village" now to help them. Lindsay has been placed on the organ transplant list and is in need of a multi-visceral organ transplant. Lindsay will have her liver, pancreas, intestines and even part of her stomach removed. Lindsay and her family need all the love and support, we, as a community can show them.  A small donation will not alter our lives in any way but it can mean the world of difference in theirs.

Every single small donation can become one LARGE gift to this family. We will be collecting through June at which time her fund raiser will be finished with a CrossFit Event. Multiple gyms will come together to Lift With Love For Lindsay. It is my hope that this show of community will offer some relief to this local Long Island family.
