Light Johnny Up
Donation protected
Johnny R Goode III has lit up so many of our lives as the lighting director for The Disco Biscuits and now's the time for us to come together and light up his.
For those of you who don’t know me I’m Dre, one of Johnny’s chosen sisters. Like many lifelong friendships we’ve been through a lot over the years, but these particular cirucmstances are extra tough, so we, as an extended Goode family, are asking for help.
Many of you may have noticed or heard Johnny was not working The Disco Biscuits show last Saturday at the Anthem. That’s because he had been taken to the ER and still remains hospitalized with sepsis. A very nasty bacteria had entered his body through a small cut on his dominant hand, triggering an extreme immune response, and leading to sepsis nearly overnight.
The hospital teams are actively trying to fight off the bacterial growth and infection from spreading further. He’s had surgery already and more are planned in the coming days.
He’s going to be okay. His spirits are high and he feels the outpouring of love from all over. That said, once the infection is under control, he’s going to have a long road of healing and recovery ahead of him. This road is sure to have many bumps and obstacles (and bills), and we could use your help lighting the way!
If you are able, we’re kindly asking for donations to help #lightjohnnyup - let's show Johnny how much we love and appreciate him, and let's help him get back behind the lighting console that he loves so much...the one we love to see him behind.
*When we have a better understanding of when he can head home to Colorado and when he’s back in his space, the funds will be distributed directly to him for his ongoing medical expenses.
Thank you so much❤️
