Lightening their Load: Anita Conrad-cancer journey

I’ve known Anita for around 20 years.  I would like to think we have seen each other through some harder times.  We have boys that are the same age and we both have a desire to serve God and our families.  

Anita has recurrent breast cancer stage 2. Ist time in 2017 was stage 0 and she underwent lumpectomy followed by radiation. This time she will be doing chemo and will have double mastectomy. She’s not sure yet if they will remove both at same time or if have to do 2 separate surgeries.
Anita won’t be able to work in the same capacity while going through chemo, and will likely be off at least 1 month after the mastectomy. She is a PRN employee with HH so that means she has no benefits at all.
