Lil' Fighter's Fall Festival

It was SO hard to chose a family, but we put it to a vote and the Lil’ Fighter that the Festival will be benefiting this year, is 12 year old Kadence Butler!❤️❤️❤️

Kadence became suddenly & severely ill 5 months ago and, after being rushed to the ER, was transferred to Seattle Childrens Hospital where she was eventually diagnosed with early onset Systematic Lupus Erythematous.

After more than a month in the hospital, her situation finally stabilized. But while Kandace loves school, fishing, hunting & trapping, her future is very uncertain as the Lupus attacks her organs. She faces surgeries, possible kidney failure, side effects of many medications and strong steroids, sun exposure makes her sick, and at the slightest fever she’s back in the ER.

Dad Brett works out of state to provide for the family, while mom Kandace is at home in Thompson Falls MT caring for Kadence and her 4 siblings. I know they will be blown away by the generous care our community shows, through this year’s Festival on October 1st!!
