Lil Wolf Growling at Cancer

Brycen Lil’ Wolf is 3 years old and has been diagnosed with T-cell leukemia. We are at St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. This happened so fast. We went to the hospital for fever and swelling and were transferred to Baton Rouge Children's hospital where they ran tests and informed us that we would be traveling by Ambulance to St. Jude to start treatment.   The doctors said we will be here in Memphis for at least 9 weeks, and his treatment will be ongoing for 2 1/2 years. 

 

I am asking for help to cover bills and expenses.  I haven't been at my job long enough to get any paid leave, and I don't know how long it will be before I can go back to work.  Bills still have to get paid, and my other 2 children that are staying with grandma still need support.  Lil’ Wolf will have a comprised immune system when we get out of the hospital, so we need to ensure that he has his own room in a sanitary environment with no carpet and an air purifier to keep germs down.  Our whole lives have just changed in a blink of an eye.  Any donations would be appreciated.  If you would like to donate something besides money you can. My Lil’ Wolf has been such a big boy so far. He turned 3 since we have been here, and he is just starting to lose his hair.  We have a long road ahead of us. His sisters don't understand what's going on either—they are 4 and 5. They are staying with grandma while we are in Memphis.  They just know Bubba's sick and that we have to be away at the hospital. It’s hard being separated from the girls, and we have the added stress of no income.
