Julie Gahagen Schafer passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 12, 2021. She was a beloved skating coach of Ice & Blades of Western Pennsylvania for decades and instilled her love of skating within the thousands of students that she worked with over the years.
Julie leaves behind a thirteen year old daughter, Lilah. While we can’t replace what she’s lost, we’d like to help her daughter achieve her educational dreams. Lilah is a passionate artist and storyteller, with an imagination far beyond her years.
We are therefore collecting funds in memory of her mother for Lilah's continuing education. No donation is too small and is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
