Lilah Louise and the Small Family

Hello, our names are Laura and David Dacres, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to read our story. We are writing this on behalf of our sister and brother-in-law, Aimee and Kyle Small. Recently our niece, Lilah Louise, has been diagnosed with VSD and acute heart failure.

Aimee brought Lilah to a routine four-month-old check up with her pediatrician, where her doctor strongly suggested that Lilah be seen at the Children’s Hospital. They discovered the reason Lilah was not gaining weight was due to heart complications.

Lilah was admitted to Hartford’s Children’s Hospital in Connecticut on Tuesday, August 29th where she will remain until they can get her strong enough to do surgery. Aimee and Kyle also have two older children, Cashlin and Harrison.

All donations collected will go directly to the Small family to help pay for travel to and from the hospital, parking costs, and time lost from work. Any amount you’re willing to contribute is greatly appreciated. If you aren’t able to donate money at this time, sharing this with your family and friends would mean the world to us as well.
