Give Liliane a second chance for life
Donation protected
Liliane Cheaito was full of life and spent her days as a new mom to her two-month-year-old son. Then, on August 4th, 2020, her life as she knew it came to a stop due to the Beirut port explosion.
Liliane, now 28 years old, has spent nearly every moment of the last two years in silent suffering after she sustained severe damage to her frontal brain lobes that required three surgeries.
She has been at the American University of Beirut’s Medical Center since August 4, 2020. Liliane remains mostly paralyzed, linked to an intravenous drip with a half-dozen drugs that include pain medications and a treatment for epilepsy that is not available in Lebanon.
She is now required to be moved to a specialized advanced rehabilitation center to pursue her treatment in Turkey because it's not available in Lebanon.
Funds raised will cover transporting her to Turkey and giving her the proper therapy needed to be back to her family and 2-year-old son Ali.
Please help Liliane, trapped in Lebanon’s multiple crises – from a deteriorating health sector that can no longer treat her to paralyzed government institutions and zombified banks that have frozen her family out of their savings.
