Transition Fund

I'm Lilith Starr. I'm a transgender woman, and am currently in mid-transition.

This means that I was designated male at birth, and that this gender assignment causes me high levels of anxiety and psychological distress. It's a condition similar to a disorder, and is known as gender dysphoria in the DSM-V. I've been transitioning physically since January 15th, 2013, in order to become more feminine, and mitigate this chronic stress.

Transitioning is a long and expensive process, and thus far I can barely maintain the mandatory and permanent upkeep expenses. The costs associated with transitioning are many. Among mine are frequent specialised doctor appointments, HRT (hormone replacement therapy) medication, and electrolysis hair removal treatments. Finally, I'm interested in having GRS surgery performed, but it is VERY expensive!

Every $3.00 donated pays for a little over one day's worth of my medication, and anything above that will go towards my more expensive transition-related needs.
