Disney Run for Lillian & Samantha Flannery

Before Sam's passing, she had just completed the goofy challenge which for those of you who don't know is when a long distance runner completes a 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon all in one weekend at the Disney World resort. This is truly an incredible accomplishment which she trained long and hard for with the support of her family and friends.

During the time leading up to the big weekend, we would talk about her training and how many miles she was running this week which seemed to shock and inspire everyone at work. With that being said, Mary and i registered for our first marathon at Disney world this upcoming January in Sam and Lilly's Memory. Sam and Lilly are truly an inspiration to us and have given us the courage to go way outside of our comfort zone to compete in this amazing race while also motivating us to push past what we thought our limits were.

With Jon's blessing, we have set up this go fund me so that any donations will be sent directly to the girls favorite non-profit (HSPPR) here in Colorado Springs. Mary and i are lucky enough to have even gotten into this race and to be running for such a good cause and ask that If you are able to, please consider donating to help reach our goal this year. The race is set for January 7th, 2024 at which point, we will close the fundraiser. Thank you everyone and especially a huge thank you to Jon Flannery and his son for allowing us to set this up.
