Lillie Kay

My name is Tammy Kay. I’m the mother to 13 year old, Lillie. In September of 2022, Lillie was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer, called Ewing’s Sarcoma. She went through 14 rounds of chemotherapy and two rounds of radiation on her lungs and left arm. In July of 2024, she was cancer free! We had a wonderful 8 months of celebrating her newfound freedom of not living life as a cancer patient. On Monday, March 11, Lillie had her routine scans and the CAT scan showed there was nodules in her lungs. The MRI showed that the tumor in her left arm has grown. We are devastated. But we know that we serve a mighty God. Just as He holds the heavens in the palms of His hand, He is not surprised by this outcome. He is the same today as He was yesterday.

On Monday, Lillie will have a PET scan and on Thursday, she will have surgery to biopsy the nodules on her lungs. They will then try to remove as many nodules as they are able to. They will also amputate Lillie’s left arm. After this, they will begin chemotherapy as soon as they are able. We have a long road ahead. This money will be used for buying Lillie a wheelchair if insurance doesn’t cover it. We really needed one last time but didn’t get one. Medical needs, gas, travel needs, etc. If you feel lead, we would really appreciate any help.
