Lillie - Let's show her the Love!

Big shout out to all mums and dads ...how many times have you looked at one of your children when they are unwell and wish you had the power to take the pain away even just a little?....well my best friends 19 year old daughter is literally battling every known illness and really has already exceeded the expectations of medical professionals on more than one occasion...by rights if this illness had hit anyone else they'd most likely have lost their life.

Lillie is an astonishing young women who despite all the pain and complications of her little known about illness, relishes life but it has been massively impacted.

Unlike most 19 year olds Lillie can't attend college or university, she can't socialise like other girls her age, she is very much isolated dependant on the 24 hour care that her mum Chrysan provides without any question (their bond incredible) and every day they get up and show up.

Lillie suffers from GPA and is literally the only person in the world to be living with the combination of medical issues, doctors are baffled, teams don't know or understand what to do and as with many patients and families Chrysan is looking at private medical procedures to help relieve the pain that Lillie feels every single minute of every single day!

Lillie so desperately needs a new port and her bladder completely removed! & Whilst I don't know the full extent of what the future holds for Lillie I am determined to help her and her family.

Why? Because no matter how bad their day is I can pick up the phone and they cheer me up!!

As a mother I know I've looked at my children when they've had a cold or tummy upset and know I'd have paid to take that pain away if I could ....well now I have the opportunity to help make a difference to a young girls life and all I'm asking for is £5, if every single mother, father, grandparent, aunt, uncle, brother or sister can give just £5 we can improve the life of this young women and relieve some of the pressure from this family to enable them to regain more normality to their lives in essence substantially improving Lillie's quality of life.

I know I can rely on all of you, but I've got a bet on that the NorthEast people will step up for this ..again why? Well Chrysan is one of us born and bred in the North East she relives memories of her growing up here and instills our community values in her children. Chrysan hasn't visited the North East since leaving around 20 years ago but she's so keen to fetch Lillie and her son Liam to the North East so they can see for themselves this stunning area and lilly really just wants to visit Beamish.

SO Ive sorta promised I'll raise this money already so I hope you can all help me...we need to raise £3,000 for a new port

And to be even cheekier I'm hoping we can dig deep and contribute to a little North East holiday so I'm trying to raise a further £1000 to fund that too.

Lets show Lillie the real North East hearts and make her day, week, year I just know she's going to be so overwhelmed by us lot...of course even if your not from the north east please still give that £5 because it may be a small amount singular but all together we can make a difference!
