Lilly and Todd

Hi my name is Shawna I am fundraising for my friends Lilly and Todd. Lilly went in a scheduled hysterectomy on September 7th. The surgery went well and she was healing but on September 21st at 1:00am she began to heavily bleeding. She was rushed to the ER where she was given her first blood transfusion at 2:30am. She was then transferred by ambulance to Vanderbilt and had another blood transfusion at 4:00. She ended up needing 5 pints of blood between her 6 transfusions trying to control her bleeding. Lilly ended up needing an emergency surgery to control the bleeding which they found was caused by a busted blood vessel near her initial incision site internally. She is now back home recovering but she is going to have to be on bed rest for the next 6 weeks so she can probably heal after two surgeries. Lilly and Todd have 8 awesome kids to take care of and Lilly isn't going to be able to return to work for at least 6 weeks. Bills will not stop coming in just because she is having health issues. Lilly and Todd would very much appreciate any financial help you are able to give to them during this stressful time.
