Lily Belle win the battle against MDS

My name is Renee Melzer and I am a family friend of Jodi and Dan Gastaldo. Jodi and Dan have 4 beautiful children Maggie Beth ( who went to be with the Lord 8 years ago) Ben a freshman in college, Noah a fun loving and energetic boy and Lily Belle a spunky 6 year who loves Disney. Over the summer Jodi noticed bruising on Lily and chalked it up to being an active little girl. Then one day the bruising became worse so they went to the pediatrician, who then sent them to the ER. The results of the test were devastating, Lily has Myelodysplastic Syndrome, the same cancer Maggie Beth had. Right now Lily is safe and being monitored closely while they come up with a treatment plan.

As many people know medical treatment isn't cheap. There will be days and weeks where work will be missed for doctor appointments and treatments.

Family life will still have to go on and everyday expenses will not go away.

Jodi and Dan have been through a lot with this cancer before with Maggie Beth. While it's the same cancer it's a different story for Lily Belle.
