Lily, Bryan & Blake have lost everything Napa Fire
Donation protected
Instagram's story feed has a way telling stories like no other. Some stories are funny, some are clever, and some are cute. As this year's fire season started images and videos of smoked filled skies, ashes on our homes and cars, and images of huge fires burning the skyline filled our feeds.

But Lily's Instagram feed jumped out right away as it was filled with tension and terror as the distant wall of fire got closer and then close enough to be down the block! As the minutes and hours ticked by, her feed showed the fire getting as close as a block away. Then there was no news. Lily and her two boys had to leave their home as the fire was literally across the street.

Lily Tran Carbis, is my wife's cousin, and her two children Bryan and Blake have lost everything. The home they just purchased a year ago to rebuild their lives after other things in life have tried to tear them down, is now gone. Imagine all your photos, clothes, your kid's toys, your bed, your daily life all gone. This is what Lily and her boys are going through right now.
My mother in law took care of both boys as new borns, so I've known them since they were swaddled. I've seen them grow up, learn to sit, flip over, crawl, walk, talk, poop without a diaper, you know...all the big milestones. They're so young to be in such a situation. On top of everything going on right now, the amount of distress Lily and the boys are going through is probably off the charts.

After seeing her most current story and chatting with her of course! They are all safe and ok. My family and I want to help. We figured others may want to as well, so here it is. Everything raised will go to Lily and her boys. No donation is too small or too big. Let's give them a boost to get them back on their feet.

Thanks!

PS. Per the GoFundMe guidelines, my name is So Trinh, I'm from Daly City, CA and a terrible writer/story teller. My wife is Leena Trinh, and Lily Tran Carbis is her cousin. As for what the funds will go to, I would guess the basic necessities a family would need: clothes, food and probably a toy. Lily does not know this is happening, so please don't spoil it :)
