Lily Forte and Jamie Gelman - USC Senior Project

For our cumulative senior capstone project, we are joining forces to host an all-female writing camp the weekend of November 10th. We will host around twelve songwriters (4 producers, 8 writers) for a fruitful weekend collaboration, networking, and creating. This project is not only an opportunity for us to utilize the vast network we’ve amassed over our time at USC, but also allows us to bring together, empower, and uplift fellow emerging female creatives. Our ultimate goal is to leave the weekend with an EP of sync-worthy songs that we can then directly pitch to sync catalogs. Michael “Smidi” Smith and Kevin Lyman are closely advising us through the process.

On top of a stellar roster of creatives, we would love to use this camp as an opportunity to bring women from all parts of the industry together. Any sort of support is greatly welcomed. We will be providing studios, food, and drinks for the writers and producers. With that, we plan to raise $500 to help cover the costs of the fruitful weekend. We greatly appreciate any support!
