In Loving Memory of Lily Jean Stenberg

On January 31st, 2024, the unimaginable occurred when we received the news of Lily Jean’s passing by suicide.

At 22 years young, Lily was a beautiful, radiating light. She brought endless laughter and love to all those lucky enough to have entered into her orbit.

As Lily’s family and friends grieve and cope with this tragedy, we, as chosen family of her sister Jessica Lovejoy, are raising funds to offset the costs unexpected death brings.

Lily is preceded in passing by her devoted mother Jackie, whose love for her daughters was “deeper than the ocean and bigger than the sky.” As Jessica remains the sole surviving daughter and sister, funds raised will contribute to a burial plot for Lily next to Jackie, giving Jessica a place of solace to honor them eternally.

For those who have been fortunate enough to hear the infectious laughs that Jackie and both Lily and Jessica inherited, you are also aware of the trials they have faced as well. Their family journey was storied and it saddens all of us that Lily’s life ended so suddenly.

As Jessica and Lily’s extended family, friends, and life partner, Felecia, navigate the grieving process, we hope to provide support to lessen the load in any way we can. Your support is so, so greatly appreciated and we cannot thank you enough for helping honor the life of our sweet, Lily Jean.
