Lily-Anna’s Surgery and recovery time
Donation protected
Hi my name is Rachel
Those who have followed my niece’s story are aware that she has had years of challenges with her bowel which have led to lots of complications and worries. Lily-Anna has had an ileostomy (Rosie!) for a couple years now and has experienced great improvement, however she is still being affected regularly by what has been diagnosed as “Hirschprung’s disease’.
Lily-Anna has had her next bowel surgery date come through for Tuesday 22nd April.
Claire, her mum, has shared:
“ We are feeling anxious and a bit overwhelmed but we're trusting that she'll be in good hands.
We are going to try and make the most of Easter weekend as a family before another stretch in the Children’s Hospital. Prayers appreciated ❤️ “
Claire will need to take unpaid leave from work to accompany Lily-Anna to hospital and stay with her for as long as required. She will also need to travel to and from the hospital if required for her son Jake, potentially pay for parking, and her own meals and other costs whilst at hospital.
We appreciate all the funds that have been raised until now to help Claire and her children through these periods of lack of income whilst Lily-Anna receives treatment or needs her mummy by her side. If you can and wish to continue to financially assist Claire through this next hospital stay to help ease the burden please do so here ❤️❤️ Thank you so very much!
