Lily's emergency vet bill due to attack from dogs

Hello, my name is Itzel, and I am fundraising this on behalf of neighbors Kim and Jake. Since the beginning of the year, our whole street has been dealing with dead pets due to one of our neighbor's dogs getting out loose and attacking our animals. The city and police have been called multiple times, and nothing has ever gotten done. Today many of us in this street heard dog cries and many of us all ran out to see what was going on. We ended up finding Jake and Kim's dog Lily being attacked by these dogs. We were able to scare the dogs away for them to let Lily go, but as you can see in the pictures, a lot of damage was done. Lily is currently in the Emergency Vet Hospital for a collapsed lung and broken ribs and a broken leg. Lily is currently on oxygen and her future right now is still uncertain. The owners of the dog that attacked Lily are still not taking responsibility for this attack which now puts this financial burden on Jake and Kim.

Jake and Kim have recently had to deal with the death of Jake's grandmother who is still trying to recover from that emotionally and financially. Lily also was their grandmother's dog before she passed, so Lily means a lot to them for so many reasons. By supporting this fundraiser you will help ease this hardship on Jake and Kim.
