Lily's Lymphoma Journey

Hey everybody!

As some of you may know my best friend Lily was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma Advanced Stage 2B earlier this year. Lily has been undergoing intensive chemotherapy in Dublin, two hours from her home and unfortunately has been struggling with same. The intensity of the treatment has required Lily to be admitted to hospital on numerous occasions and on one occasion into ICU. Lily got the news that her cancer is responsive to treatment but requires treatment into next year.

Lily has been deemed unfit to work for the foreseeable and has been relying on friends and family to transport her to and from hospital very regularly. As a result of this Lily's mother has had to take unpaid leave from work to provide transport and support for Lily and also to care for her while she recovers after each treatment. Lily and her family are struggling financially due to very little income and are dealing with stress and anxiety because of this. I am hoping that there is some generous people out there who will consider donating even a couple of euro to make the long journey ahead easier on her and her family.
