LIMBO - Student Short Film

LIMBO is a thriller short film following 4 students who find themselves trapped in an abandoned elementary school. The place is infested by the vengeful spirits of those who were trapped there before them, but this does not stop them from fighting their odds of survival as their minds are slowly warped and manipulated by unseen forces.

Our names are Luke Sokolowski & Logan Sass and we are the directors of LIMBO. We created this film as a capstone project for our study at Illinois State University. Our university lacks the proper equipment and does not fund student led projects, so we are on our own to scrounge up equipment and funding to create our short film.

We wish to raise at least $1,250 to help cover the cost of purchase/rental of: equipment, props, and costumes to make the best possible film we can with what we can work with. We are currently in pre-production with a finished script, working with our actors to enhance their performances. Our set filming date is February 9th, 2024 and the hard deadline for incurring funds is January 16th, 2024.

Any contribution would mean the world to us, and as a thank you, I will send a download link to every contributor upon completion of the short film. The film will also be up for viewing on YouTube a few weeks after distribution to donors.
