Lincoln Memorial Academy is a Public Charter School in Palmetto, FL whose community, teachers, and parents voted to convert it from a district-run school so that it could more completely serve the needs of it's over 500 Title 1 (free/reduced lunch eligible) student body.
Our goal is to ensure that our students reach their full potential; remain competitive in an increasingly global marketplace, and become successful, productive citizens in our society.
We use the TOTAL LIFE PREP approach: We've extended the school day, extended the school year, and offer - in addition to the standard district curriculum - expanded opportunities for enrichment through our C.A.L.M. (College/Career exposure, Arts/Athletics, Life Skills Development, Municipal Responsibility) and L.E.A.D. (Leadership Education and Athletic Development) curriculum.
Quarterly school trips: 6th graders to a Municipality; 7th graders to a local business or vocational/technical learning institution; 8th graders to a college or university.
Elective offerings: Health Sciences, Culinary Arts, S.T.E.M., Multimedia/Coding, Business, Agriculture, Art, Music, Dance, Drum line, Sport-Specific PE, Drill Team, Leadership.
Athletic offerings: Football, Volleyball, Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Soccer, Track, Tennis, Golf, Archery, Strength & Conditioning, Baseball, Softball.
