Lincoln Park Shooting Victim

Hi, my name is DaShawn Earley and I am creating this go fund me for my brother, Dakotah Earley. He was the unfortunate victim of a shooting early this morning, May 6, 2022, in Lincoln Park (Chicago). He was walking down the sidewalk when he was ambushed by a man who hid behind a building, who was prepared to rob him for his bag and cellphone. My brother fought back and another assailant got out of the white sedan car (seen in the video) and this is when several shots were fired, which hit Dakotah in the back and head. My brother is currently in critical condition and is in the fight for his life. My family and I are raising money at this time for his medical bills as well as our travel expenses to travel to Chicago, as we all live out of state.

 
 
My brother is a 23 year old, who was up until recently, a culinary art student.  He was taking a break to focus on some other things in his life, with a plan to return when he felt ready. He did not deserve this. He is a gentle giant and would’ve given the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
