Lincoln's Kidney Disease Journey
Spende geschützt
Hello Everyone,
This page is for my very loving 3 year old grandson, Lincoln. He was born on 6/4/2013 with only one kidney. We quickly found out that his single kidney was abnormal, and he was then diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). He has been on peritoneal dialysis for over 2.5 years now, and was finally gained enough weight/height in Janurary to start looking for a live donor! Unfortunately, we have not had anyone go through the actually testing process yet. We're now reaching out again to the public to see if anyone would step up and help this incredible little boy!
This brave, little guy has been through quite a few surguries/procedures, all leading up to this point. He has constantly been in and out of the hospital for the first half of his life, but has thankfully been healthly enough these past several months to gain the height and weight needed to be considered for the transplant.
This Gofundme page has been started to help ease the financial burden on his parents, Talbert and Ashley. There will be plenty of traveling to and from the hospital during Lincoln's stay, and several appointments weekly thereafter. On top of the normal bills, rent, food, gas, etc, things will start adding up quickly.
I hope to give them some stability as they continue this journey as a loving family.
We graciously ask that you share this link, and any donations, if possible, are greatly appreciated!
Your amazing support means a lot! Thank you!
