Linda Blair, beloved sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend, passed away on April 21, 2017 from a brain hemorraghe.
Since word of Linda's condition spread, she has been described as sweet, funny, kind, generous, vibrant, full of vigor, and "a beautiful soul" by friends and co-workers. To her family and close friends, she was all of that and so much more. She was the one who was always there when you needed her, she was the one our kids looked forward to seeing on the sidelines of all the important performances and sports games, she was the one who fed your kids ice cream for breakfast during sleepovers, she was the one who came and sat with you and made you laugh by telling inappropriate jokes while you were in the hospital stressing out.
Thank you very much for all of your messages offering to help with expenses. Her sister, Lois Blair, will use these funds to help cover her travel back to Eastern Washington to be laid at rest next to her parents, burial expenses, and medical expenses that were incurred during her 10 day stay in ICU at OHSU.
Thank you so much for all the love and friendship that you have shown Linda during the time that she was on this earth. Your well wishes and generosity are much appreciated by her family.
