Afterlife support for Linda’s Family

This fundraiser is on the behalf of my sister in law Linda Chavez. After years of being misdiagnosed (allergies, sciatica, prediabetic, bronchitis and pneumonia to name a few) a series of tests over the last month have confirmed Linda has Stage 4 Metastatic Bronchial Carcinoma. While this is a truly frightening diagnosis I am in awe of Linda’s strength and preparedness to fight.

Linda will begin a combination of radiation and chemo June 13th. Due to her late diagnosis the main tumor in her lungs is inoperable, however she will need a bevy of additional procedures and medications to help stop and slow the cancer from spreading any further as well as manage her pain, discomfort and nausea.

Linda is an amazing wife to my brother Kyle, and an incredible mother to Dean (8) and Ryder (11). She is kind and selfless. Always eager to help others and as loyal as they come. A devoted sister, daughter, and aunt. She is 34 years old and has much more life to live with her family.

She will be taking time away from her job as a behavioral therapist to autistic children to start treatment and fight lung cancer. The goal of this fundraiser is to help alleviate financial stress towards the medical bills ahead as well as supplement income for family and monthly expenses as Kyle will also be taking a leave of absence from work to be by her side through this journey.
