Help Linda pay for a working furnace

Hi, my name is Becca and I created this gofundme page for my mom, Linda.

Linda is a deaf mother of five daughters(only one is living at home, as the others are older), and a grandmother of five beautiful babies. Linda lives in Osoyoos, BC.

To be honest, I feel strange asking for help for her this way, and I know my mother Linda does as well. I feel these fundraisers are for people who are suffering from a tragic loss, accidents, medical issues etc, but I’m not really sure what else to do in this situation as we do not know anybody that could help financially with this cost.

Linda’s furnace broke down at the end of November. Leaving her, her youngest daughter, and their four pets without heat for more than 2 weeks. Unfortunately since she works only a part time job out of town, with no pay stubs she does not qualify for a loan from her bank.

The quote provided to replace the furnace is just about $6000, as long as no other issues arise. I provided a photo of the quote(with her address and phone number covered for privacy reasons).

It would be great if we could raise that amount so they can have a working furnace again to get through the rest of the cold winter months.

As we all know how high the cost of living is these days, even if you cannot donate we would really appreciate if you could please share.
